Description: MEDLINE belongs to the most important sources of information in medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system and the preclinical sciences. MEDLINE is the U.S. National Library of Medicine bibliographic database and contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 5 600 international biomedical journals. The database contains over 22 million citations dating back to 1946. Coverage is worldwide but most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. MEDLINE also contains records of chapters and articles from selected monographies. Records are classified by the thesaurus MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). Annual increase is about 700 000 records. Since 2001 MEDLINE newly contains also records from formerly single databases AIDSLine, BioEthicsLine, ToxLine, PopLine a HealthStar.

Description: Northern Light’s Life Sciences Conference Abstracts is a bibliographic database that contains conference abstracts and posters from scholarly conferences from the fields of life sciences and pharmaceutical research. The retrospective reaches to 2010. You can search the database by conference title, date or sponsor, and by other search criteria as Author, Brand Name Drugs, Medical Device, Disease, Gene, Cell, Enzyme, Type of the publication, etc. It’s possible to set up alerts or RSS feed.
